THREE HOTELS, ONE SHARED IDEA OF HOSPITALITY
Bovi’s Hotels was born from a family passion for hospitality and a deep connection with Ogliastra, one of Sardinia’s most authentic regions. Over time, this vision has grown into three distinctive 4-star Superior hotels, each offering a different way to experience the island.
Hotel La Bitta expresses the intimacy and elegance of a hotel genuinely pieds dans l’eau. Hotel Club Saraceno brings together family holidays, sport and the energy of life by the sea. Hotel Corte Bianca offers an adults-only retreat devoted to nature, tranquillity and wellbeing.
Different places and different experiences, united by the same people-centred approach: genuine care, familiar faces and the desire to make every guest feel truly welcomed.
THE BEGINNING · 1953–1970
FROM THE FORESTS OF OGLIASTRA TO THE SEA
The story began in 1953, when Giuseppe and Romana left their hometown of Acerno and crossed the sea in search of a new beginning in Sardinia.
Their first years on the island were spent close to the forests of Ogliastra. It was there that Giuseppe developed a profound respect for the land and came to believe that trees were a treasure to be planted and protected.
Later, the sea offered them a new horizon. In the quiet bay of Porto Frailis, Giuseppe and Romana imagined a welcoming place where people could meet, enjoy good food and experience the beauty of Sardinia.
La Bitta opened in the summer of 1967. What began as a small restaurant by the beach gradually became something more: a place shaped by authentic flavours, warm hospitality and the determination of two people building their future together.
A few years later, La Bitta became a hotel — and, at the same time, the Bovi family home.

A FAMILY HOME
A HOTEL THAT GREW WITHOUT LOSING ITS SOUL
As Hotel La Bitta grew, its most distinctive quality remained unchanged: hospitality was never simply a profession, but something lived every day.
Guests were welcomed with personal attention, familiar faces and small gestures that made them feel at ease. Many began returning year after year, finding not only the beauty of Porto Frailis, but also the pleasure of being remembered.
After Giuseppe’s passing, the family chose to carry his vision forward. The hotel continued to evolve, combining Sardinian stone and craftsmanship with colours and decorative details inspired by the founders’ Campanian roots.
Over time, La Bitta found its present form: an intimate hotel by the sea, refined yet deeply personal, where every transformation has respected the spirit from which it began.

A NEW CHAPTER · 1982
A NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE SEA
In 1982, the family began creating a second hotel near the bay of San Gemiliano. The vision was different, but the spirit remained the same: offering guests an authentic connection with the sea and the landscape of Ogliastra.
Hotel Club Saraceno grew gradually into a place devoted to families, sport and shared experiences. Sailing, windsurfing, tennis and days spent between the beach and the pools became part of its identity.
What began as another courageous family project is now a lively beachfront resort where different generations can experience Sardinia together.

A NEW DESTINATION · 2018
A RETREAT SHAPED BY NATURE AND WELLBEING
In 2018, Hotel Corte Bianca became part of Bovi’s Hotels, bringing the family’s experience and way of welcoming guests to the unspoilt landscape of Cardedu.
Surrounded by Mediterranean gardens and close to the sea, the hotel gradually developed its own identity as an adults-only retreat devoted to tranquillity, nature and wellbeing.
Its extensive outdoor Garden Spa, included in every stay, expresses a more intimate and restorative way of experiencing Sardinia.

THREE GENERATIONS, ONE WAY OF WELCOMING
Today, a new generation works alongside the family, bringing fresh ideas while preserving the values that began with Giuseppe and Romana. Each hotel has developed its own personality, but all three share the same commitment to genuine hospitality, attention to detail and a deep connection with Ogliastra.
